NEWS FEEDS AND ANNOUNCEMENTSTo all of our fans and friends- It is with much sadness that we announce Suit and Tie genocide is no longer a band. This was not a day we were looking forward to, but after careful consideration and reflection, we felt that this was the best decision for each member and for our group collectively… There were many circumstances that lead to this decision (some within our control, some not). We did not want to bore you with those details, but instead, we wanted to leave you with this.
The experiences and memories we have shared with all of you will live within all of us forever. You, our friends and fans, have had our backs from day one and we could not be more grateful for what you enabled us to accomplish over the last few years. We experienced things that we never thought we would…we were able to open for Fuel, Green Jelly (Who remembers the 3 little pigs?) and Saving Able. We were able to play the music we love for almost 3 years while our friends watched. What a privilege this was. How humbling to have given you the gift of music, and more importantly, how humbling that you enjoyed this gift. This is a heartfelt “thank you” for the experiences, memories, support and friendships all of you have provided for us. You made memories for us that we will carry the rest of our lives... even though this is the end of SATG, this is just the beginning of new things to come for each of us, both in (and outside) of our musical lives. That being said, we wish to leave you with one of the last songs we wrote, ironically titled “That’s It.” The link at the bottom of this post should take you to the track on Soundcloud...We have a few more acoustic tracks to send your way, and we promise to get those on our Reverbnation page as soon as we can. This Facebook page shall remain online until that point. So, until next time, thank you, we love you and always remember to SUPPORT LOCAL MUSIC! Sincerely, Suit and Tie Genocide |
